In 2012, Roger Hill challenged us to come up with a musical response to the Beatles for his show, 'Pure Musical Sensations', on BBC Radio Merseyside.

Armed with two scratchy beatles records, a table of inanimate objects and Adam's cello, we went about recording a short, radio-friendly piece.

But, we got it wrong... and created a whole EP of tracks dedicated to beetles!

We sent Roger the single, 'I'm looking through you too'. He responded favourably, so we thought we'd got away with it. No idea how, the insect in the video is a dead giveaway. But he didn't see that because he is on the radio.

The 'Rubber Sole' EP will be out very soon, available for download or physical purchase (with or without giant tropical beetle larvae) from our bandcamp site.

In the meantime, buck up your thorax and get your antennae around this.
